Visionary Art - Evolution and
omniscience as art to inspire and adorn the path to ultimate
universal truth.
Life as we experience it, reveals
the true neccessity for change. The education and told story of
history has effected society in a way that benefits only a few of
the whole. In a time of realized change sparks of light from the
center appear in attempt to guide things to a new plateau.
Throughout history visionary philosophers and artists have shared
visions of higher truth and the unseen worlds that inspire the
human soul. Many times effecting masses, yet sometimes adding to
the division. Our role at this time in our history as realized
beings is to add to the realization and awakening of human spirit
while reconnecting us to our original source, what I believe
Terrence called the transendental object at the end of time. As
current visionary philosophers and channels we work to unveil
universal truth and cosmic unity, uniting our race as a world
civilization, healing the relationship between mankind, the earth
and all that resides within it. We should take our position in
universal order and reveal a most divine path to the center. Art
and music throughout the ages has immortalized many of these divine
truths by exposing them to the senses and revealing them to all in
this physical world who are blessed to experience them. As a qoute
from Alex Grey," It gives the viewer an oppurtunty to visit the
same shining vistas" that the artist has brought it back from.
Developed in the mind, through the mind eye, and with assistance
from great masters the artist becomes part of an experience that
yields unquestionable beauty in a form that can penetrate the soul
to act as a tool or instrument for strength, truth, and cosmic
unity.
As a visionary artist working in
glass, Ed Steckley has dedicated his life to works that liberate
spirit and encourage an awakening of the sleeping mind. After being
exposed to glass coupled with many mystical experiences and a deep
inner yearning for truth, it was revealed that the dream of playing
a part in the reconstruction of the human experience was not only a
neccessity but a destiny that is taking place as visionary
expression throught 3 dimentional sculpture.Originally from New
Jersey, now based in Kauai, Hawaii and as a world citizen, Ed seeks
to collect information from all world religions, wisdom schools,
and other Earth intellegence to help create a collective vision of
a new reality based on the truth of all that is. Glass as a chosen
medium retains many characteristics that reflect life's truth such
as clarity, strength, and fragility. It is in a constant state of
flow and transmits light easily. Whether it be abstract beauty,
crystalline conscience, fractal expression, or Yogic truth, all of
this work acts as a catalist to the mind body soul to bring one to
realize divine truth as well as thier own divine self. Objects of
commanding truth can act as a physical talisman from which this
truth is expresssed and holds ground. Such things require the mind
to question or accept the truth they represent. A genre of work is
forming to directly reflect the highest truth, the revelation and
ascension ultimately making what each of us must attain a part of
our physical world. In this way we create a bridge to a new dawn, a
journey forward into the past, the end and the new
beginning.
In manifesting this new paradigm
and new awareness one can use objects to assist them on the
spiritual path. Ritual, ceremony, and in waking life, objects of
strengh constructed with clear intention are an asset in
manifesting change as well as holding information and revealing
truth. On a path not seen by the physical eye, we attempt to adorn
it with objects that best reflect the truth one must acquire to
continue forward. May all of these works act as a goal, a reminder,
and a celebration of a most divine path to the
center.
Revealing ideas such as Divine
Flow and Proportional Theory in assistance with Sacred Geometry and
Sacred Expression, boundless truth and beauty work their way into
our world. As it is, something big is arriving, It has been said
and is most apparent that it will first reveal itself through
music,art, and the hearts of those who are prepared for
it.
Sacred Geometry in art reveals
truth not yet understandable in most aspecs of society. The math of
creation and expression of eternal truth are found in and based on
Sacred Geometry. Sacred Expression is any action that stems from
the same universal truth. By accessing this knowledge and using it
in motion, in art, and in life one can guide themself along the
divine lines of existance. Freeing ones mind, body and spirit to
allow all that is to express itself purely becoming as said by Sri
Baba, "I am that".
Proportional theory is based on
the fact that all matter can be measured by the same math and
theory. In the spirit of this truth it is possible to learn much
about the vast outer world by looking in the smallest of places. In
fact the microcosm/microcosm understanding might find evidence in
these kind of images. Example being an enlarged picture of
something small that mimics or matches something large or even
something larger than life. Mushroom and the mushroom cloud, A wave
crashing on the ocean in the shape of the clouds at sunset, the
very rotation patterns and lines that form and shape our
superuniverse use the same principals as flowing water or smoke. In
this way it becomes possible to explore the vast unknown and
somewhat unreachable places by looking small rather than large,
searching in rather than out. It is revealed in meditation that the
only way to reach the seamingly distant and unreachable center of
the universe is by traveling inward within the self. The farther in
you go the bigger it gets until you realize that you are you,
spelled G U R U, create the reality that you
experience.

About Ed Steckley
Ed Steckley was first introduced to glass in Boulder, Colorado by a
collection of artists in the area shortly after graduating from the
University of Connecticut. He then returned to the east coast
where he proceeded to develop his own method of free-form glass
sculpting. After his startat the Jersey Shore, Ed's
first studio/gallery known as ES Glass
Art was opened. Now residing in Kauai, Hawaii
or where the wave might take him. In Kauai he is studio
director of the Kauai Recycling for the Arts Foundation designing
architectural and artistic projects geared toward community
beautification and education in the field of arts. Ed's
biggest goal is to create artwork and present art in the way that
increases community and individual consciousness and reflects our
true nature to all.

This line of artwork is a direct result of the healing
mind. All of this artwork is made to represent and hold
physical space for manifestations and awareness that lie on the
path of our natural evolution and transcendental ascension.

These are any tools used in the facilitation of divine
realization. These objects either stand for or can be used to
carry out a divine task. Many aid in healing and hold great

Meditative talismans are objects forming a path in your mind to a
desired celestial location or an ominous realization holding the
physical ground of your spirit and being to a divine thought or
emotion.
Crystal Cloud Meditation
These sculptures represent the tranquil and pure crystalline
consciousness. Let your spirit transcend as you cleanse the
mind-body-soul creating a clear vessel in which to enjoy
life.
Re-Cognition
Destroying all ignorance, with purity I intend, I recline
in the awareness of omniscient consciousness. This
piece represents one's rebirth into the realm of the omniscient,
when one accepts and is loyal to their highest morals and
values.
Marine life
A lot of our work is of underwater origin. Both Rosemary and
Ed began their lives near the ocean and continue to have an
intimate relationship with this vast ecosphere of innumerable
inhabitants. It has always been a large part of the
ES Glass Art collection.
Botanical life
This section of
our Gallery is not at all limited to flower but contains many of
the creatures you would find there. Insects and amphibians
are certainly no stranger.
